I am pleased to announced that last Wednesday, the final chapter to Captain Fantastic and the Kids Next Door, has been uploaded [link] . There is an interesting twist in it all, if you see.

Sadly, the fic had bombed. It got no reviews over the past 6 weeks of chapter uploads, and I question that. Did I not promote the fic heavily enough? One theory I have is that our most famous forum member (who shall remain nameless except to those who know me from the forum) had left, ultimately turning the forum into a ghost town, and the fic arrived at an unfortunate time.

While this is a great tribute to the Elton John-Lizzie Devine fandom it does not make up for the fact that KND is long gone from Cartoon Network airwaves, and my record collection has been deteriorating ever since. On a side note, it has been reported by memners of the forum that the Playstation Network has begun offering KND episodes, for a small fee, for play on a PS3 or PSP. I still have a PS2, and wished I had the money to get a PS3---especially one that is capable of playing PS1 and 2 games. All I would need then is some extra money to rebuild and complete my record collection.
